To entertain business associates? To move up to a bigger house? Next, list what kind of home you would like and where you would like to be, Be specific. Saperate the "Must haves" from "Want to haves".

Think of yourself as zeroing in a target, going from the general to specific. Consider area (City, Urban and Sub-urban neighbourhood, Country), Community (North, South, West or East), Neighbourhood (Older and settled or sparkling new; a particulr school zone; recreational facilities; and other communit services such a transportation, daycare, library, stores, entertainment). Also ask yourself how many minutes you are willing to commute to walk.

Think about home style. how mach space do you need? Does your situation require one-level home or are stairs acceptable? Consider size and kind of property. Do you want newer home or may be an older one to fix up? Someday you or your heirs will want to sell? Consider how long you expect to live in this particular home.

Step 2 : Determine your Budget and Mortgage Pre-Qualification

Once you have addressed above needs, your next step in the purchasing process is to determine your budget; cosider how much you can afford and can be qualify. or get pre-qualified with banks or mortgage company. This is the most important step to buy  a home as you need to get the mortgage. This can be done over the phone or even online in a matter of minutes.

Once you have found your specific home there are yet to complte the more tasks. Such as putting, negotiating and finalizing offer, completing financing, finding reputed inspector and lawyer. Then corresponding to complte all the documentations to close the transaction.
